I realy wanted to like this

I have used this app on the ipad, and while it is not ready for prime time, I was hoping that the MAC version was more polished and robust. I was very wrong.

The first thing I did was migrate some pages I had created on the ipad. Right away there were issues with editing and saving. I made edits to several pages and while it would not give me an error message, it also did not save the edits. Uploading to the FTP server did not work also, again, no error.

I recreated the pages from scratch and saved the files without issue. The next problem that I encountered was differences in the editor to what was being shown in the browser. For example, if I had a bulleted list, when the page was uploaded, the text would display in a paragraph format.

I could not figure out a way to add hyperlinks on different elements on the page… somethign that should be pretty intuitive and easily accessible.

While I believe that the concept of this app is excellent, it fails to deliver. Many more edits needed before its ready for prime time.
